A deal has been signed between the Government and Legendary Incorporated for a $110 million resort and marina project in eastern New Providence.

Prime Minister, the Hon. Philip Davis was in attendance at a signing ceremony held at the Office of the Prime Minister on Monday. He said, “with up to 200 projected jobs for Bahamians, an estimated $158 million in added government revenue for the next twenty five years, this development promises to help fuel the economic revolution of my administration as we’re working diligently to facilitate.”

Founder of Legendary Marina Peter Bos was also at the signing and told members of the media, “this project is more than just another development, we’ve done a lot of developments. Thousands and thousands of residential units, golf courses etc., etc., but this is special. This is a project that’s dear to my heart.”

Construction is planned to begin this summer. The development includes a 120 slip marina, dry storage facility, marina village, clubhouse, restaurants, residences and a hotel.
