The 19th Annual Bahamian Music & Heritage Festival is set to return to the Regatta Site in George Town, Exuma, on March 14-15, 2025. This highly anticipated two-day event will once again celebrate the vibrant culture, music, and traditions of The Bahamas, offering an immersive experience that highlights the essence of Bahamian heritage.
“For 19 years, this festival has been a cornerstone of our cultural identity, providing an authentic Bahamian experience that captivates both locals and visitors,” said Hon. I. Chester Cooper, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism, Investments & Aviation. “Cultural tourism is a key pillar of our national tourism strategy, and events like this not only preserve our heritage, but also create meaningful economic opportunities for our communities.”
This year’s festival will feature an exciting lineup of Bahamian musicians, cultural performances, and engaging activities. The concert series will showcase top Bahamian entertainers, with performances on Friday, March 14, by: Da Pond Band, Papa Carly, Dimitri, Ironn Storr, Shine 242, Blaudy, and D Mac. On Saturday, March 15, the stage will come alive with Bassel Smith, Jammin’ Rahming, Nishie L.S., Geno D, and K.B. Hosted by Rika C. with music by DJ Code Red, the festival promises high-energy performances that celebrate the diverse sounds of The Bahamas.

Beyond the music, attendees can immerse themselves in a variety of cultural experiences, including fire dancing, traditional Bahamian games, and interactive arts and crafts demonstrations. The Kids Corner will offer fun-filled activities for young festivalgoers, while Da Festival Kitchen will serve up authentic Bahamian cuisine, giving guests a taste of the islands. A highlight of the festival will be the Junkanoo Dolls competition, a thrilling Rolla Bolla and Fire Show, and an exhilarating Junkanoo rushout, bringing the unmistakable rhythm and spirit of The Bahamas to Exuma.
The daytime activities are free to the public until 5:00 p.m., after which the Concert and Cultural Show will take place from 5:00 p.m. – until. Admission for evening events is $10 for adults and $5 for children.
