Bahamian Media News:

The Ministry of National Security in conjunction with the Bahamas Agricultural and Industrial Corporation (BAIC) is holding a retirement transitional, four-day, workshop for pre-retirees of the uniformed branches.  The officers are of the Royal Bahamas Police Force, Royal Bahamas Defence Force, Bahamas Immigration and Bahamas Customs.  The workshop, which runs from Monday, April 24, to Thursday, April 27, is hosted by BAIC’s Entrepreneurial Planning Department.  Topics include ‘the winning entrepreneurial mindset,’  ‘crafting your business plan’ ‘benefits of home ownership,’ ‘business resiliency and strategic planning,’ ‘steps to a successful business’ and ‘licensing your business.’  The Hon. Wayne Munroe, Minister of National Security (pictured at the podium), encouraged the officers to stay focused, stick to their goals, and suggested to them: “Do not watch what other people are doing.”
