The father of Kyle Carey, who was reported missing on May 11th, 2023 is refuting claims circulating on social media that the body of his son has been found.

Keith Carey told ZNS News, “this kind of rumor is not only irresponsible but it is also incredibly disrespectful to our family during this difficult time. Our family is still searching for Kyle and until we have concrete evidence otherwise, we believe that he is alive.”

Carey added, “spreading false news only adds to the pain and anxiety that the family is experiencing already. We ask that you do not share or engage with this misinformation. Instead, focus on verified source of information and respect our need for clarity and accuracy. We’re looking forward for closure but not through rumors and false reports.”
