Police Press Liaison Officer, Chief Superintendent Chrislyn Skippings revealed at a press conference on Monday that the death of Evan Fox has been ruled a suicide.

Skippings told reporters, “as you know the pathologist concluded her postmortem in that and it was determined that it was self inflicted. And so that matter right now is closed and we move forward from there.”

The Chief Superintendent added, “it was determined that he did take his life based on the evidence that was in the postmortem from the pathologist.” Skippings also confirmed that a shotgun was found along with Fox’s body.

Evan Fox was reported missing two days before his truck and body were found on April 29th in bushes near Frank Watson Blvd. in southwestern New Providence.
