A man is dead after an altercation with his older sibling on Saturday afternoon near the intersection of Milo Butler Highway and Carmichael Road.

The siblings were arguing in a car when the younger brother hit the older brother and fled from the vehicle. The older sibling then followed his sibling, struck him with the car then reported the incident at the Carmichael Road Police Station.

Police Press Liaison Officer, Chief Superintendent Chrislyn Skippings was on the scene and made this appeal. “We must be able to sit down and talk through the situation. You cannot get caught up in the heat of that moment and allow you emotions to take over. Conflicts are a natural part of our daily living. It just that we have to be able to find amicable ways to resolve them.”

The elder sibling was taken into police custody.
