Sea Breeze Kids Immersed in Bahamian Culture for Summer Fun Camp

Bahamian Media News:

Kids who participated in the Sea Breeze Constituency Summer Fun Camp hosted by Member of Parliament Leslia Miller-Brice gained unique experiences that they won’t soon forget. They learned how to make useful arts and crafts that could earn them money; they travelled around New Providence visiting historic sites; and they shared in the music, tastes and culture of being Bahamian.

For MP Miller, it was important to instill a strong sense of cultural pride in the children of Sea Breeze, because it helps to form their identity and foster their national pride. In this way, Miller and her Team LB were able to help build each child into productive citizens.

As the Sea Breeze Summer Fun Camp wrapped up, Team LB prepared to host all of the children of the constituency to a Back to School Jamboree. Hundreds of children in the area turned out with their parents to the Charles Carter park on Charles Saunders Highway from 4:30pm to 7:30pm.
