The body of a man was found on Carmichael Road near the Coral Harbour Roundabout on Sunday morning.

Superintendent Deno Josey was on the scene where he provided details of the incident for members of the media.  He said, “we don’t have a nationality at this time.  We have an age grouping between late thirties, early forties so we are unable to say if he is known to the police.”

Josey also mentioned that there are surveillance cameras in the area of where the body was found.  He said, “police are looking at them now to try and find out what happened.  We need to know why and when.”

The Superintendent said the investigation is in its early stage and officers from the detective unit of the Western Division and Carmichael Division are doing their preliminary investigation.  He also said that prayers are needed for the nation.  “We’re losing our young men. We need to pray for the nation, pray for our young men.”
