The University of the West Indies Open Campus Bahamas (UWIOCB) is hosting a special webinar series every Thursday in June to help empower the public and provide tools for self development and professional advancement. Four dynamic industry leaders will each host one of four webinars, scheduled for June 8, 15, 22 and 29. 

UWIOCB Country Head Bridgette Cooper invited the speakers to provide thought-provoking presentations to inspire attendees to soar to new heights in their careers and in their lives. Speakers include: Tracy Cooper, Managing Director of Bahamasair Holdings, Ltd who will speak on “Leadership: Making Tough Decisions in Tough Times; Marisa Mason Smith,Ombudsman, University of The Bahamas who will speak on “Productivity in the Workplace”; Darren Leon, Financial Manager, Treasury and Risk Man, University of the West Indies Open Campus who will speak on “Managing Finances in Hard Times; and Dr. Kitiboni Rolle Adderley, Owner and Senior Physical Therapist, Handling Your Health Wellness Center who will speak on “Healthy Living and You”.

The webinar series is being held in commemoration of the University of the West Indies’ 75th anniversary under the theme: “Rooted, Ready, Rising”. A series of events are being held throughout the Caribbean wherever UWI campuses and open campuses exist.
