Members of the Royal Bahamas Police Force held their annual church service at Life Changers Ministries International on Sunday.
The sermon was delivered by Senior Pastor Bishop Valentino Williams. He told those in attendance, “it’s time to overturn the tables. Overturning the tables requires courage. It requires integrity and it requires loyalty.”
Prime Minister, the Hon. Philip Davis was also at the service. He told the officers this is moment for us to step up as a nation. “It is a call for fathers to come back to their children, for mothers to hold fast to hope and for every Bahamian to remember that the child who strays is not someone else’s problem. they’re all our problem.”
Bishop Williams made a donation of five bullet proof vests and five body worn cameras to the Royal Bahamas Police Force on behalf of his church. He told Commissioner Shanta Knowles, who accepted the donation, that they were to assist in overturning the tables.
Following the service the police force paraded from Wulff Road to Police Headquarters.
