Residents Craig Powell and Kenneth Miller shared their thoughts on the initiative, while the Minister urged citizens to stop littering. He reminded residents that littering is not only harmful to the environment but also a violation of the law, carrying penalties for those caught dumping waste irresponsibly. Too many individuals continue to throw garbage from their car windows, undermining beautification efforts and contributing to an ongoing health concern. The Minister called on all residents to take pride in their communities, respect environmental laws and dispose of waste responsibly to ensure a cleaner, healthier Bahamas.
