A man, believed to be in his twenties, was shot and killed on Fleming Street on Tuesday.

Police were on patrol in the area when they heard gunshots. Upon investigation they found the body of the man on Fleming Street. Police Press Liaison Officer, Chief Superintendent, Sheria King was on the scene of the incident where she briefed members of the media. She said, “initial reports in this homicide is that the victim was walking on Fleming Street when a single male, masked, on a motorcycle, rode up on the side of him, fired shots in his direction fatally wounding him.”

The Chief Superintendent appealed to the public to contact the police with any information about the incident.
