Former journalist and Press Secretary is the Office of the Prime Minister Clint Watson has been named as the incoming General Manager of the Broadcasting Corporation of The Bahamas.

Minister of State in the Office of the Prime Minister with responsibility for the Corporation confirmed the news to members of the media outside of Cabinet on Tuesday after months of speculation. The Hon. Myles Laroda said, “I could confirm that, that decision was made by the Board of Directors. You know, the public will make up its mind when they see the product of ZNS. Clint Watson has worked at various agencies and I don’t think were gonna disqualify individuals because they work at OPM. Considering there are other members of the press should they not be considered for other jobs that come up just because they work at OPM.”
