Bahamasair celebrated the long service of its Managing Director, Tracy Cooper over the weekend. On Sunday Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism, Investments and Aviation, the Hon. Chester Cooper and others attended church at the Church of God of Prophesy East Street Tabernacle to commemorate 40 years of service by Tracy Cooper.
Minister Cooper expressed his excitement at celebrating Cooper’s service to the national flag carrier. During his presentation the minister told Cooper, “I know that in your quiet humility you feel humbled but as minister responsible for Bahamasair I don’t want this to be misinterpreted as retirement, your work is not yet done. We have a lot more skies to cover. But I want to tell you today, as we’ve been saying all weekend, you are deeply appreciated, you are profoundly admired and today you are rightfully celebrated.”
Cooper said he wanted to give thanks to the Lord in a special way by having a service of appreciation surrounded by family, friends and colleagues.
