Deputy Prime Minister and Member of Parliament for Exuma and Ragged Island, the Hon. Chester Cooper traveled to Exuma where he joined in the celebrations to bring in the 52nd independence day.
Cooper spoke with reporters from George Town, Exuma. He said, “I’m delighted that the government of The Bahamas is not just Nassau centric. We’re ensuring that these celebrations are all across the islands of The Bahamas. It’s a great place to celebrate the 52nd,, together we rise and Exumians have made a significant contribution to the overall development of the islands of The Bahamas, the Commonwealth of The Bahamas.”
The Exuma MP expressed his pride that he is from Exuma.
