Sixty-six Haitian nationals, one Israeli, and one Jamaican were apprehended during multiple operations conducted by the Enforcement Unit throughout New Providence from August 15 to 22. These operations resulted in the collection of $43,000.00 in outstanding immigration fees.

Notably on August 22, a joint operation with the Royal Bahamas Police Force targeted an unregulated community, and a roadblock was administered in the eastern district of the island.

This operation resulted in the arrest of twenty (20) Haitian nationals for immigration-related violations, including Overstaying and Illegal Landing.
