The National Commission for Persons with Disabilities (NCPD), of the Ministry of Social Services Information and Broadcasting, held a Town Hall meeting for Fort Charlotte and neighbouring areas, September 15, 2025 at T. G. Glover Primary School.

Held under the theme ‘Let’s Talk Disabilities’ the Town Hall meeting was organized to bring awareness to the public of the plight of disabled persons, services available to assist with the needs of those with disabilities, and give solutions to their issues, as well as community support.

Present at the meeting were partners such as the National Insurance Board (NIB), the Urban Renewal Authority (URA), and Fort Charlotte Urban Renewal to assist in providing information that can make all the difference in the lives of those affected.
