The Bahamas Ministry of Tourism, Investments and Aviation partnered with the Florida Caribbean Cruise Association (FCCA) this year for their annual holiday gift giving to bring Christmas cheer to students in the first and second grades at Hugh Campbell Primary School.
Captain Vittorio Cantu, of ‘Celebrity Constellation’, who led the 20-member team, on December 10, 2025 and delivered the bags full of toys to the eager students, said it was an honour to bring joy and smiles to the children.
In addition to the gift presentations, Santa and his elves also sang Christmas songs and took photos with the kids.
Senator Kirkland Russell, who was also on hand for the big reveal, noted that the collaboration between the government and the FCCA is invaluable and seeing the elation on the students’ faces and knowing that, for some, it would be the only gift they receive this Christmas made the moment extra special.
