A tremendous outpouring of faith and fellowship filled Charles Carter Park on Friday night as residents of Sea Breeze and visitors from across The Bahamas gathered for the “Call to Prayer” Gospel Concert and Intercession hosted by Sea Breeze Member of Parliament Leslia Miller-Brice.
Welcoming the hundreds who turned out for the event, Miller-Brice greeted attendees with hugs, smiles and words of encouragement, moving throughout the crowd and praying with residents and visitors as the evening of worship and intercession unfolded.
Held under the theme “Stronger Together, United by Community,” the gathering became a powerful demonstration of unity as Bahamians joined hands, lifted their arms and raised their voices in prayer and praise for their country, their families and their communities.
The atmosphere was electric with soul-stirring performances from a phenomenal lineup of gospel artists. Pastor Simeon Outten headlined the event alongside Davian Chase, DJ Godson, Eman, Kenyatta Taylor, Shara J and Latrell Pyfrom, all of whom delivered uplifting musical tributes that stirred the hearts of those gathered.
The night was further enriched by moving interpretive dance performances from the United Kingdom Dance and Mime Ministry, the Church of God of Prophecy’s Prayer Christian Life Group and the Kingdom Gems Dance Ministry.
Praise and worship were powerfully led by Living Waters Kingdom Ministries and Revolution Church, creating moments of deep reflection and spiritual renewal throughout the evening.
Church leaders from across the community also lifted heartfelt prayers, including representatives from New Dimensions Church, Miracle Life Church, Embassy of Revival, Redemption Seventh Day Adventist Church, Victory Baptist Church, Angelic Baptist Church led by Reverend Celestine Cox and Pastor Devard Francis, who each offered blessings over the gathering.
The evening culminated in a moving prayer chain that united the crowd in intercession, as voices rose together calling on God’s guidance, protection and favor over The Bahamas.
Dynamic host Tanya Duncombe guided the program with warmth and energy, helping to keep the spirit of the evening high as the community came together in a powerful display of faith, unity and hope.
