All Bahamian day at the Sandals Royal Bahamian Resort featured everything from native food to music.
Sandals Public Relations Manager, Renee Deleon explained “its really a pop up event where separate groups of managers we take over the canteen each month. So even though it is meant to really be spontaneous team members know that every month they can expect something they just don’t know what to expect. And so today we came with a Bahamian theme and I think it was very very important we made that decision, you know, we thought about it, it was a decision that was, like I said, premeditated. We wanted as a company, as a brand to assist and to aid in commemorating the 50th year of independence for The Bahamas.”
Providing the entertainment for the event was Bishop Lawrence Rolle who did so in exchange for grocery donations to his feeding program.
