Today, the Deportation and Removal Units successfully executed deportation
orders, resulting in the removal of one hundred and seven (107) Haitian nationals, comprising
(80) males, (22) females, and (5) minors.
The group departed Lynden Pindling International Airport at 11:10 a.m. en route to Cap-Haitien,
Haiti aboard a Bahamasair flight. All standard health and safety protocols were strictly observed
to ensure the well-being of both officers and deportees.
Additionally, this week, fifteen (15) foreign nationals were removed from the country:
- Jamaicans – 3
- Colombians – 2
- Mexicans – 2
- Peruvians – 2
- Romanians – 2
- Cuban – 1
- Ecuadorian – 1
- Haitian – 1
- Moldovan – 1
These enforcement activities form part of the Department’s ongoing efforts to ensure
compliance with immigration laws and regulations. The Department remains committed to
