Two CIBC Caribbean clients are celebrating exciting wins after being selected as the lucky recipients of 65-inch Samsung smart televisions through the bank’s Score A Hat Trick Visa Debit Card promotion.
The campaign, launched in partnership with Visa as part of the FIFA World Cup 2026 excitement, rewarded eligible CIBC Caribbean Visa Debit cardholders who made qualifying purchases with opportunities to win one of two premium televisions.
For Cory Pratt, a graphic designer and CIBC Caribbean client for more than six years, the
winning phone call came as a complete surprise.
“I was shocked, but I was happy to learn that I had won. It makes being a customer feel
worthwhile and makes me feel that the bank wants to give back to its customers in a special
way,” he said.
Pratt, who uses his CIBC Caribbean Visa Debit Card for everything from groceries and fuel to
dining and online purchases, said the convenience of the card makes it his preferred payment
method.
Fellow winner Natasha Nixon, a project manager and CIBC Caribbean client for over 10 years,
admitted she initially had doubts when she received the call.

“Honestly, at first I thought it was a scam,” Nixon laughed. “But the agent did a really good job
verifying that it was legitimate and that I had truly won. Then I got very excited.”
An avid traveler and CrossFit enthusiast, Nixon said she uses her CIBC Caribbean Visa Debit
Card for virtually every aspect of her daily life, from shopping and travel to online purchases and
transfers.
“I don’t leave home without it. I also love that I can lock my card if needed, transfer funds to my
children instantly, and that the online banking platform is so user friendly,” she said. While the new television may quickly become the most popular screen in the house, Nixon joked that “everyone will now gather in my room,” adding that she is looking forward to watching the latest episodes of House of the Dragon on her new 65-inch display.
CIBC Caribbean Head of Country, Terrance Gibson, said the promotion reflects the bank’s commitment to rewarding clients while encouraging the use of secure and convenient digital payment solutions. He said, “Our clients are at the heart of everything we do, and we are always pleased to celebrate moments like these with them. We congratulate Cory and Natasha on their well-deserved wins, and we thank all of our clients who participated in the promotion and encourage them to continue taking advantage of the exciting opportunities available through their CIBC Caribbean Visa Debit Cards.”
The Score A Hat Trick promotion formed part of CIBC Caribbean’s ongoing partnership with Visa to reward everyday spending while giving clients memorable opportunities to win exciting prizes.
