The Cabinet Office announces that an Official Funeral Service for the late Right Honourable Neville Walter Wisdom, CB, former educator, coach, Cabinet Minister and Member of Parliament, will be held at Bahamas Faith Ministries International, the Myles E. Munroe Diplomat Centre, on Friday, 18th September 2026 at 11:00 a.m.

Interment will follow at Lakeview Gardens and Mausoleum, Gladstone Road.

The body of the deceased will lie-in-state at the House of Assembly, Parliament Square, on Thursday, 17th September 2026. The body will depart the House of Assembly on Friday morning via hearse in a convoy to the vacant lot opposite Golden Gates Assembly on Carmichael Road, from which a military procession will proceed to Bahamas Faith Ministries International, the Myles E. Munroe Diplomat Centre.

Upon completion of the funeral services, the procession will proceed to the gravesite, commencing in the area of the Lutheran Church on John F. Kennedy Drive. Viewing for members of the general public will take place on Thursday, 17th September 2026 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the House of Assembly.

The funeral service will be broadcast live via radio on the ZNS Radio Network. The Cabinet Office invites members of the public to honour the memory of and service rendered by the late Right Honourable Neville Walter Wisdom, CB.
