Bahamian Media News:

The Bahamas CARIFTA Games concluded on Monday with the Bahamas team finishing second to the Jamaicans with forty one medals.

Head coach of this year’s eighty member team Coach John Ingraham gave his reaction to the athlete’s performance saying, “it shows that our programs are working. We should invest more in our kids and we could one day win CARIFTA.”

Speaking on performance in the field events Ingraham said, “Coach Maycock did an awesome job with those javelin throwers. They broke records. Hats off to Vanderpool, an awesome pole vaulter. He broke the record. The Bahamas did an awesome job this weekend and we’ll like to thank God for everything that he gave us, the opportunity that he gave us.”
