Nassau, BAHAMAS – Bay Street was abuzz with 300 plus Santas dressed Santa suits, hilarious Christmas costumes and pups decorated in jingle bells danced, biked and rushed to the Junkanoo rhythms on Saturday, 14th December. The second annual Junkanoo Jingle to Bay was one to remember as family, friends, civic organizations and tourists enjoyed the festive 5K route Milled with musical surprises along the way.
JJtoBay Race Co-Race Directors of Four Seasons Race Management Marcel & Theresa Major and TIDE Consultants of Kandice Weech were pleased with the turnout and the active participation of the Bahamas National Children’s Choir, the year’s charitable benefactor.
“Bringing together the community to increase health and Mitness, building community, and fostering cultural pride is our goal and we are delighted to see so many people supporting this holiday initiative which boosts sports tourism in our country. What a beautiful way to kick off the holiday season on Bay. We are very thankful for the support of all our kind corporate partners, volunteers, and race participants for helping us support young adults and children in our community. In addition to supporting the Bahamas National Children’s Choir, thanks to the generosity of Quality Home Center, children from a local group home also came to Bay and received gifts for Christmas. JJtoBay 2025 is set for Saturday, 6th December at 6 am with an Early Bird Special now running from December 19th to 26th with reduced pricing – $35 for adults, $25 for children, and $40 with pet/adult which includes a lightweight Santa Suit and Minishers medal.
