Attorney General, Sen. Hon. Wayne Munroe fielded questions from reporters on whether the driver involved in the traffic accident that killed four young women on Sunday could face charges.
Munroe said at this stage of the investigation nothing is off the table. “Any time there is an unnatural death and what happened at that instance would amount to that. Unless there is a charge that emanates from it there’s bound to be at least a coroner’s inquest. But out of a fatal traffic accident you sometimes get killing in the course of dangerous or reckless driving charges arising out of them.”
The Attorney General warned against speculation in the matter of the recent traffic accidents. He also said, “anytime there’s a fatal crash there’s a consideration, if there are fatalities, to whether there will be charges. For that matter anytime there is an accident there’s a consideration for whether there are charges for as simple as careless driving, driving without due care and attention.”
