A paralyzed man was shot and killed in a car on Fleming Street on Monday morning.
Police Press Liaison Officer, Chief Superintendent Chrislyn Skippings was on the scene where she briefed reporters. She said, “preliminary information thus far reveal that a male, the driver of a black Acura TLX, pulled up to a residence here on Fleming Street and immediately he was accosted by three masked males who exited a gray Jeep. These males, all of whom were armed with high powered weapons, opened fire on the victim, shooting him multiple times.”
Skippings also informed that the victim was well known to the police and was a player in the Outlaws gang in the Fox Hill community.
Also on the scene was Michael Fox Sr. who identified the victim as his son, Michael Fox Jr. He said, “my son didn’t have a criminal record but my son was well known. And he was only well known based on them picking on him. He was shot years ago, about eight, nine years ago, he was shot. He’s now paralyzed.”
Fox went further stating, “persons who know about my son you’ll hear negative and you’ll hear positive and the positive is that my son helped many people in this country.”
Michael Fox Jr. was 37 years old at the time of his death.
