Beyond Resolutions: LevelUp Leaders 360 Champions Vision, Wellness and Legacy

Bahamian Media News:

In a time when many speak of change but struggle to sustain it, LevelUp Leaders 360 set out to do something different — to equip individuals with practical tools to transform their thinking, their finances, their health and their leadership. Founded by Koschina L Marshall, the empowerment experience held at the National Art Gallery of The Bahamas centered on one clear objective: helping people rise with clarity and conviction.

The dual event — New Year, New You Empowerment Seminar and From Pages to Presence: Authors Showcase and Book Signing — brought together entrepreneurs, professionals, students, creatives and community leaders for a day focused on intentional growth, strategic development and legacy building.

Under the theme “Recalibrate. Refocus. Rise”, the empowerment seminar featured a lineup of speakers who challenged attendees to approach the year with discipline and renewed purpose.

Keynote speaker Apostle Benjamin Smith urged participants to embrace a renewed vision grounded in strong moral principles. He emphasized that transformation begins with the mind, noting that lasting change requires moral vision, moral conviction and moral action.

Kaynell Gould delivered a faith-centered message on resilience and mental strength, encouraging participants to take ownership of their emotional and spiritual well-being. She reminded the audience that while individuals cannot always control what happens to them, they can control how they respond.

Financial strategist Charlene Y Storr focused on financial wellness as a foundation for stability and success. She challenged attendees to move beyond “financial survival mode” and adopt intentional strategies that allow them to direct their resources wisely, rather than react to circumstances.

Entrepreneur Ethan A Moss addressed the practical realities of turning ideas into sustainable ventures. He emphasized that successful businesses are built by solving real human problems and aligning purpose with disciplined execution, noting that mindset often determines momentum.

Dr Sharmaine Butler highlighted the importance of lifestyle choices in combating chronic noncommunicable diseases. She outlined five pillars for sustainable health — nutrition, exercise, sleep, stress management and mental wellness — encouraging participants to view their bodies as critical assets in achieving long-term success.

The seminar concluded with an awards segment recognizing individuals for leadership and impact. Apostle Benjamin Smith and Pastor Schevon Smith, Bishop Kevin and Pastor Kim Grant, and Pastors Dave and Angie Burrows received the Faith and Values Leadership Award for exemplary spiritual leadership and service.

Dr Debbie Bartlett was presented with the Voice, Influence and Storytelling Award for excellence in journalism and media impact. Ethan A Moss received the Business and Professional Excellence Award, while Ashleigh Sean Rolle was honored with the Emerging Leadership Award for visionary leadership and positive community influence.

Following the seminar, the focus shifted to literary achievement as 16 authors participated in the From Pages to Presence Authors Showcase and Book Signing under the theme “Books. Brilliance. Branding.” Attendees engaged directly with authors and gained insights on publishing and brand development from Mrs Bowler, Director of the National Library Depository, brand strategist Monalisa Thompson and Davrielle Gardiner of One Rib Publications.

Organizers said the showcase reflects LevelUp Leaders 360’s commitment to elevating voices, promoting literacy and strengthening thought leadership throughout The Bahamas.

Proceeds from the event were directed toward the Charles N Mackey Legacy Scholarship Fund, which supports students who demonstrate leadership, service, resilience, academic excellence and athleticism.

LevelUp Leaders 360 describes its mission as developing individuals, elevating communities and honoring legacy through workshops, coaching sessions, mentorship initiatives and scholarship programs designed to inspire transformation across generations.
