The Bahamas Telecommunications Company has made a donation to the Primary School Student of the Year Foundation and has committed to providing scholarships for seven students. BTC has been a long-time supporter of the Bahamas Primary School Student of the Year Foundation, each year supplying funding to the foundation.

The Bahamas Primary School Student of the Year Foundation will recognize 122 students from public and private schools in New Providence, Grand Bahama and the Family Islands. The program boasts of changing the lives of over 3,000 students since its inception in 1997.
