Employees of Cititrust Bahamas Limited held a give back event at the Ranfurly Home for Children over the weekend. The bank also donated six computers, printers and non perishable food items to the foster home.
Public Affairs Officer of Cititrust Monica Gulati explained, “its an annual that we’ve been doing for the past eighteen years. This started in 2006 and each year we select a different non-profit organization to work with. Through the pandemic we’ve not had any in person events, we’ve been doing it virtually or doing food campaigns. So after 2019 this is actually the first event that we’re doing in person and its absolutely fantastic.”
Gulati went further stating, “we like to think that we are the human bank, the bank with a soul. So no matter what it is that we do behind our walls when we’re doing our transactions and all that, we always come out into our communities and do an outreach program every single year.”
In addition to the donation of items, while at the Ranfurly Home Cititrust employees also painted, planted trees and played games with residents.
