Retired teachers who were a part of the first class at the Bahamas Teachers College celebrated their 50th anniversary with a reunion at the T. A. Thompson school campus on Sunday.

Bishop Franklin Ferguson, spokesman for the group told ZNS News, “we are thankful today. I think as I look back at the group who have gathered here today, God has been good to us. We are still looking sprightly and I think many of us are still able to make a contribution to The Bahamas. We look forward to it.”
