The Free National Movement (FNM) held its national fair over the weekend at the R. M. Bailey Park.
FNM National Chairman, Dr. Duane Sands told ZNS News the event is an opportunity for community engagement. “It is a time where constituency associations from all over New Providence and some from the family islands come, they have their stalls. It’s a time for fellowship. It’s a time for family. It’s a time for fun.”
FNM Party Leader, the Hon. Michael Pintard was also in attendance. He said his party is committed and ready. “The average member of the public, if they have a concern about a public official or a process in government that’s working against them they should have the right to inquire, they should have the right to petition answers from the government through the Ombudsmen. Unfortunately they have not moved on it. So we will be different, different than the PLP and different than our recent previous selves. So we’re committed and ready to go.”
