Former Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. Hubert Ingraham was released from Doctor’s Hospital on Wednesday after undergoing surgery to remove an acute subdural hematoma.
Before leaving the hospital, Mr. Ingraham spoke with members of the media where he addressed the rumours of his demise. He said, “it wouldn’t have been the first time. I’ve been dead in London before, dead elsewhere. I made sure that the public got the facts. As soon as I had the operation on Monday night I gave instructions on Tuesday that they should make a statement sometime during the course of the day. They told me the would do so at 5pm.”
The former Prime Minister said he is feeling good post surgery. “No pain, no side effects. I feel good.”
Neurosurgeon, Dr. Magnus Ekedede performed Mr. Ingraham’s surgery and said he should be fully recovered in two weeks.
