Four Season’s Groundbreaking

Bahamian Media News:

A groundbreaking ceremony was held on Paradise Island for the new Four Seasons project.  The project is expected to employ approximately 1,000 people in the construction phase and provide 200 permanent jobs.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism, Investment and Aviation, the Hon. Chester Cooper was in attendance at the ceremony.  During his remarks he assured that the public will still have access to Cabbage beach.  He said, “Cabbage Beach, one of our most beloved spots, will remain open to the public during construction.  Post construction will also see an improved public access.”

Chairman of the Tourism Development Corporation, Rafique Symonette told reporters the project is an opportunity for tourism entrepreneurs to interact with luxury guests.

Representatives of the property’s investors were also in attendance at the groundbreaking.  Access Real Estate Vice President, Annie Wickstrom told attendees, “we’ve invested in the property and in our team to ensure that the future of the Ocean Club is even brighter.”   Two Road Development Managing Partner, Taylor Collins said the 67 luxury homes will “combine the best luxury living environment along with the breathtaking views and Cabbage Beach.”

The project will include high rise and single story buildings and is expected to be completed in 2028.
