It was reported in a local morning daily on Friday that a report to the Delaware Bankruptcy Court by Robert Cleary of the US Justice Department revealed that various donations had been made to companies affiliated with Bahamian government officials in the amount of approximately $675,000 by FTX. No names or positions were mentioned in the report.

Acting Press Secretary in the Office of the Prime Minister, Keishla Adderley was questioned about the reports at a press briefing held on Friday at the Office of the Prime Minister.

Adderley responded saying, “there weren’t exactly any specifics or any names called, no direct allegations so its hard to comment on that but its something that the office will continue to monitor. I would await full details before reaching any conclusions on that matter.”
