Members of the Bahamas Girl Guides Association presented Her Excellency the Most Hon. Dame Cynthia A. Pratt, Governor General, with the first cookies to officially launch Girl Guides ‘Cookie Month,’ beginning October 1, during a courtesy call at Government House on Tuesday, September 29, 2026.   Cookie Month is a major fundraiser for the Bahamas Girl Guides, and the traditional first presentation of cookies to the Governor General launches their special season.  Pictured are Sunflower, Brownie, Girl Guide, and Ranger with the Governor General Dame Cynthia Pratt, centre, and Girl Guide leaders.
