Minister of Economic Affairs, Sen. Hon. Michael Halkitis recently shared his excitement about AFREXIMBANK holding its annual meetings here in The Bahamas.

Senator Halkitis said, “it puts The Bahamas on the map. We’ll have people from all over the world come here. We’ll have an immediate economic effect in terms of hotel occupancy and money spent, but as well, we have an opportunity to have conversations with business leaders from around the world who might have an interest in investing in The Bahamas or we might have Bahamians who have an interest in investing somewhere else. So very, very excited about having that meeting.”

The AFREXIMBANK meeting is being held at the Baha Mar Resort from June 12th-14th.
