The Ministry of Energy and Transport is aware of industrial action taken by some Managers at Main Post Office on New Providence. The Ministry wishes to advise members of the public that services at the Post Office remain
available and accessible.

To be clear, the Post Office is open and functioning. While the Ministry of Energy and Transport regrets the action taken by some Managers at the Post Office, the Ministry publicly affirms its commitment to engage in dialogue with staff at the Post Office to resolve the concerns.

The Ministry of Energy and Transport remains focused on transforming the postal service and will work with all stakeholders to ensure that the goal of improving services is achieved.
