Minister of Social Services, Information and Broadcasting, the Hon. Myles Laroda addressed a men’s empowerment summit held as part of family week.

Laroda told attendees, “as men we must become equipped to be leaders in the home that God has intended us to be. This requires us to be role models for our sons, our daughters, our grandchildren and throughout our communities. Families are known to be the strongest when men embrace their leadership roles.

The Minister added, “a strong family is not one that never faces challenges but one that always stands together through those challenges. The Ministry of Social Services, Information and Broadcasting continues to seek ways to strengthen its strategy to promote stronger families.”

The summit focused on financial literacy, conflict resolution and men as leaders.
