The Ministry of Health and Wellness held a contract signing for the procurement of 31 vehicles during a press conference May 23, 2025 at its head offices on Meeting Street.

The 31 vehicles — 21 trucks and 10 SUVs — are to be used to assist the Ministry in its daily fight against illness and disease throughout The Bahamas said Minister of Health and Wellness the Hon. Dr. Michael Darville during the press conference.

Dr. Darville said the procurement was at a cost of over $1.4million.

The contract was signed between the ministry and Bahamas Bus and Truck Co. Ltd.
