Determined to start Sadie Curtis students’ school year off with a bang, Member of parliament for Sea Breeze Leslia Miller-Brice set up a gifting station at the school gate, taking the time to greet every student on their first day back to school.
Sadie Curtis Primary School students were greeted by bright smiles and words of encouragement from MP Brice and Team LB, who handed out gift bags to each student.
“Seeing the bright smiles of returning students and welcoming new faces with big hugs and warm wishes truly made our day special,” Miller-Brice recalled of the first day back to school.
“We were thrilled to hand out over 500 bags filled with healthy snacks to kickstart their first day.”
School administrators and teachers were overjoyed by the surprise visit for students, and the children warmly received their gifts.
“Here’s to a fantastic year ahead filled with learning, laughter, and growth,” Miller-Brice said.
“We’re excited to support each and every one of you on your journey! Let’s make this year unforgettable!”
