Minister of Culture, Arts and Heritage, the Hon. Leslia Brice, attended a ribbon cutting ceremony at the National Art Gallery of The Bahamas (NAGB) for its newly restored Annex Building. Renovations were made possible through a partnership with Baha Mar Resort Foundation. A statement from NAGB: “The restoration marks a new chapter for the historic Villa Doyle property, creating space for the museum to expand public access to the National Collection while celebrating a shared investment in Bahamian art, heritage and culture.”
Speakers included Minister Brice; Baha Mar Senior Vice-President Robert Sands; NAGB Chair of the Board of Directors John Cox; and NAGB Executive Director Maelynn Ford. Also in attendance was Ministry of Culture, Arts and Heritage Permanent Secretary Lisa Anderson
