The Hon. Zane Lightbourne, Minister of the Environment and Natural Resources, recently visited Grand Bahama where he met with staff from the Ministry’s local office.
During his visit, Minister Lightbourne took time to listen to staff concerns, share in open dialogue, and assess opportunities to improve working conditions. He also conducted a walkthrough inspection of the office facilities, identifying areas in need of upgrades to enhance safety, comfort, and overall efficiency.
The Minister reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring all employees across The Bahamas have the resources and environment they need to perform at their best. He also commended the Grand Bahama team for their hard work and dedication to protecting and preserving our nation’s natural resources.
