With the help of Powerade, Ken Mullings is competing at the Olympics in Paris, France as the first decathlete from The Bahamas.
Mullings, 27, spoke with ZNS Sports about his preparation for competition that is scheduled to begin this week. He said, “since I was in Paris we had a few sessions over the hurdles, shotput and javelin and so far its been going well with Mr. Maycock and Coach James helping me.”
The decathlete said it has been easier this year to progress in the right direction with the right coaches. He also stated that he has made adjustments and worked on events that he was weaker in this year compared to last year.
