A man is dead after a triple shooting occurred on Soldier Road outside of the Ain’t Long Now Restaurant, Bar & Sporting Lounge on Monday night.

Assistant Commissioner of Police, Zhivargo Dames was on the scene where he provided details of the incident.  He said, “at this time we are still in the early stages of this investigation  but what I can tell you is that two males wearing dark clothing emerged from behind a wall and shot the persons who were standing inside of the yard at Anything Long Now Bar.”

Dames added, “the perpetrators here were bold in their actions.  Going into the yard and shooting the suspects.  And so, again, we want the public to know that while these incidents are concerning but your Royal Bahamas Police Force is up to the task and we are out here every night every day doing our very best to ensure that you remain safe.  Where incidents like this take place we could ensure the criminals and the perpetrators that we will be coming after you and based on the technologies that we have to our disposal, our investigators and the boots on the ground, we will find you and we will put you before the courts for these incidents that you are doing.”

Two male victims were transported to hospital with injuries to the arm and leg respectively.
