Parliamentarians Join Mt. Carey Union Baptist Church in Fox Hill Day Celebrations

Prime Minister and Minister of Finance the Hon. Philip Davis and other parliamentarians visited Mt. Carey Union Baptist Church, as part of Fox Hill Day celebrations, on August 12, 2025.  Among those in attendance were Minister of Foreign Affairs and Member of Parliament the Hon. Fred Mitchell, and a number of Cabinet Ministers; Leader of the Opposition the Hon. Michael Pintard and other colleagues; senior government officials; members of the clergy and uniformed branches; author of the Pledge of Allegiance of The Bahamas and the National Song “God Bless Our Sunny Clime” Rev. Dr. Philip A. Rahming; the first female registered to vote Rubyann Cooper-Darling; and many well-wishers and stakeholders.  Other churches visited in Fox Hill were St. Paul’s Baptist Church, Macedonia Baptist Church, and St. Mark’s Native Baptist Church.
