According to Minister of Foreign Affairs and Chairman of the Progressive Liberal Party (PLP), the Hon. Fred Mitchell the PLP is now campaign mode.

Mitchell told ZNS News, “there’s been an assessment constituency by constituency of people and their performances as Members of Parliament.  Those are objective assessments that will start working toward candidates in the next election.  There’s gonna be a module for people who are interested in running for office coming up in January, all Members of Parliament have to go through that module again to qualify for the nomination.  So we’re at that point where we’re preparing for the general election.”

The next general elections are schedule to occur in 2026.
