Prime Minister and Progressive Liberal Party (PLP) Leader, the Hon. Philip Davis was questioned on the when the PLP will be ratifying its slate of candidates to contest the 2026 general election over the weekend.

Mr. Davis said, “the candidates committee has been formed and in due course we’ll be sitting down and start looking at our candidates.” As to when elections will be called Mr. Davis said, “the Prime Minister will know when elections will be called and that will remain with the Prime Minister.”
