Prime Minister, the Hon. Philip Davis announced the reactivation of two US disaster readiness programs after a recent trip to Washington DC where he met with the US Secretary of State, Marco Rubio.

Mr. Davis said, “with the hurricane season approaching I also welcomed Secretary Rubio’s announcement of the reactivation of two US administered disaster readiness programs aimed at improving early warning systems and delivering rapid lifesaving assistance across the region. These will strengthen our emergency response capacity and are a welcomed development.”
