Shanta Knowles was sworn in as the first female Commissioner of Police back in January. While delivering her mid-year report last week she reflected on her first six months in office.

She told reporters, “this is a beautiful journey. It is sometimes tedious but there is nothing that we can’t do as officers when we put our minds together and when we work as one, as one team and not as I but a team of officers.”
